Presbyopia Treatment in Jacksonville

Are you over 40? Struggle to read fine print?

What is Presbyopia?

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that causes near objects to appear blurry. It typically starts in a person’s 40’s, when the lens of the eye begins to stiffen and lose flexibility. This makes it difficult to focus on nearby objects.

Presbyopia can significantly impact your quality of life. Regular daily activities like reading books, instruction manuals and food labels, scrolling through your phone, threading a needle and other close-up tasks can become daunting.

The good news is, with the help of Fulghum Optometry, this common vision condition can be effectively managed, so you won’t have to compromise on your quality of life.

I've been to MANY eye doctors over the years. I've never been treated as kindly as I have a a Fulghu... m. The doctor took the time to explain what was going on with my vision in a way no eye doctor ever has. He offered practical solutions for real problems I've been having for years. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed by any of the staff, which has gotten to be more common everywhere. I appreciated not being upsold for frames out of my price range and am massively grateful to the gentlemen who noticed the style of frames I was looking at and was actually the one who found the frames I ended up picking, and they're some of my favorites I've ever had. I nearly cried when I put them on because I could see clearer than I have in years thanks to an actually correct prescription. I will 100% be back.
